WTB/WTT: Suntour Sprint Shifters, Derailleurs

I have a 1985 Pro Miyata, which came to me with a mix of gear, mostly Shimano, but which I always thought would be kinda nice to mostly restore to original. So I'm looking for the shifters (aka the ones VO sells as 'silver shifters' and the derailleurs. Brake levers would be nice too, but I will likely just go with Tektros as I have a few pairs of them. Brake calipers I have, and the crankset/bb are original.

Used/worn condition is FINE.

I have some random stuff including several GPX bits and some Superbe Pro to trade. I'll try to get pics up. Don't really want to sell the Superbe as I'll just use that if I can't find the Sprint.

As you can see, whoever rebuilt the bike made some questionable choices. It's been a second/trainer bike for me so I haven't given it the attention I should have. Now that I have time on my hands...why not?

I have an RD in the "soon to be listed pile". Definitely in used/worn condition, complete with minor rash, but fully functional.

I too should have some extra Sprint stuff that could be made available. I could give you a list and pics tonight via PM.

Err, did you want the friction version (just Sprint) or the Sprint 9000 w/ indexed shifting. Pretty sure I have the friction version.

Thanks everybody! I didn't expect such a response, as Sprint was not around for long. To be clear it's the friction version that is OEM to the bike, so that's the plan.

Though I was thinking I could use a Sprint 9000 RD if it turned up and try to get the indexing to work. I have a pair of the Sprint 9000 shifters and probably a later Suntour freewheel.

Please PM me with specifics, $ and/or anything you're looking for.

I have a set of Sprint hubs laced to Tubular Rino rims, extremely low mileage, complete with tires and freewheel:

I'm set for cranks and brakes, and have the later RD and shifters, but might be interested in the RD and shifters. Please PM me to discuss!

That is a GREAT looking wheelset and I'd be very tempted, but don't think I want to get into tubulars.
