Can't decide

Recommendations. I have been looking into getting back into biking. My wife and I biked for years but haven't in the last ten years. We have owned Trek and Specialized. Wife has an older Fuel that is in great shape, but I'm in the market. Have looked at a Roscoe 8 and a Fuel EX5. Hear Cannondale makes a great bike and now I'm told Bianco is one I should check into. I'm 6'5" and 225lbs so I cannot ride an "average size" bike. We will ride 50/50 road/trails. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cannondale does make great bikes. My advice, go down to a local shop and take a look at what they have. That might be tough right now, but shops in my area are still allowing people to come in and test out bikes.

REI has their DRT 2.1 and 2.2 on sale right now. I own the 2.1 and I love it. I've been told that the REI bikes are made for them by Giant and they well spec'ed and in my opinion a very good value. Not sure if they go to xl frames but easy to check.

I'd favor the hardtail Roscoe if you're planning to be on the road 50% of the time
