Trek Boost thru axle keeps loosening

I just bought a Stash 7 and I keep discovering the rear thru axle has loosened up while I ride. It feels very tight when I cinch it down. Should I cinch it even tighter? Is there an issue with my quick release? Is anyone else who owns a Trek having this issue?

Thanks.
