Mmm just saw asparagus at the Farmer's Market! My pee is going to smell funny for the next month or two because I don't plan on eating much of anything else while it's in season...
I love root vegetables and everything, but man, eating locally and seasonally is SO much more enjoyable in the Spring and Summer...

it'd be awesome to find a decent sushi buffet around here... I'll bet myself and some of my training partners could put them out of business on a Saturday afternoon.

I see that whomever took over the old "Panda" on south 13th St advertises a sushi buffet. I have never been there so I am not advocating it. If you go there and survive, let me know.
Sashimi is more my style anyway.

Some young guys in my club went to an Olive Garden after a group ride and had a breadstick eating contest. The “winner” ate 21 breadsticks and the tour of Italy entrée…

You should add "sushi buffet" to your list of oxymorons.

Tonight I went to Shooting Star and split a sushi/sashimi platter with Primo spawn. I ate most of the sashimi and he ate most of the sushi. It was surprisingly good.

back to back 60 mile RR's means I eat a lot.
rice cereal, oats, fruits, sushi, salad, footlong sub. after a 2500kj race I figure I'm still at a caloric deficit. Oh well.
up at 5:30 AM to have my pre race breakie, as always 3 hours before I race.
this meal is 2 servings of oats with a few rasins and half a banana, some caesin/whey pro mixed in and a few almonds/walnuts/roasted coffee beans on top. About 600 calories total. Perfect!

Dinner was delicious. Whole wheat pasta with sauteed vegetables (broccoli, spinach, garlic, tomatoes) and grilled chicken. Topped with parmesan cheese and a side of a salad made with some spinach and other greens and topped with feta and italian dressing. I love my mom's cooking.

I'm full of Ruskie grub: cheese pelmeni, a cabbage roll and a samsa. Oh, and a little cucumber, tomato, sirene (feta, pretty much) salad

I've said it before, but this time I "mean" it. I really need to get my eating back in line. Been eating like crazy lately and it shows. Sugar cookies are all gone now, so hopefully I can stick to my diet.

I'm not worried about it, I just like to eat better. And I've always had a hard time eating "like a teenager." I think it is because I'm small. Some of my buddies eat a ridiculous amount and are far leaner than me.

4 of the top 10 restaurants in the world are Spanish. France failed to crack the top 10.
