I'd never heard deltron before. I thought it was gorillaz when I heard the vocals first, and it turns out that Del tha funkee *****apien rapped on the track 'clint eastwood'. It all makes sense now.

I've currently got a few The Mars Volta records on repeat on my MP3. When I ride to races I put my Skullcandy cans on and get ready.

Nirvana "Nevermind" playing on the stereo whilst I make dinner and cocktails.
Pretty good first album.
Yesterday i was listening to "Are you Experienced?" Not many better first albums than that one.

Both great albums...I like Pearl Jams first better than Nevermind but after that Nervana crushed them. On my list of great first albums is Elvis Costello: My Aim is True.

Captain Beyond (self named 1st album album) is awesome. Ramones 1st is Way up there. Zappa's "Freak Out" is hard to beat. The Doors self-named is also a great one. Devo's "Are we not men? We are Devo" is phenomenal. I could go on and on.

This is quickly degenerating into something from "High Fidelity".
Love that movie, BTW.

There are few bands that have near perfect albums, like The Cars through Panorama....every cut on every album is near perfect. Beatles Magical Mystery Tour...Rush through Moving Pictures...LZ through Presence....David Bowie through Lets Dance..I can listen to those in their entirety and never get tired of them.

Here are some more that I have in most recent heavy rotation. It is mostly dinosaur rock. Only a few are debut albums:
Byrds, 5D.
Rory Gallagher, Calling Card.
Rolling Stones Beggar's Banquet, Sticky Fingers, Let It Bleed
REM: Monster
Elvis Costello: Imperial Bedroom, Get Happy
Lenny Kravits: 5
Doors: LA Woman
Dire Straits: (self-named - on vinyl)
Lucida Williams: (self-named first album - also way up my list of good ones)
Uncle Tupelo: Anodyne, No Depression (also another really good debut)
Beach Boys: Pet Sounds
Little Feat: Waiting for Columbus
