Yeah - I'm in for this one, too
Last year there was a decent smattering of C&V road stuff amidst the majority of the fat-tire/working bike stuff. Good location, too.
BTW, anyone heading to Seattle this weekend for the Expo? Bob Freeman will be putting on yet another Vintage Bike Show with the emphasis this year on "Keepers of the Flame". Should be fun

I'll be at the Expo, and I think I'll make the Old Bike Swap too.
DD - I think the feature of the Classic Show this year at the Expo is "fancy lugs." KOF is a new category. The fancy lug theme coincides with special guest Kevin Sayles of Woodrup Cycles - who really knows how to build with fancy lugs. You can see some of his amazing work on Flickr.

P.S. There's an event this Friday from 5-7pm @ Elliott Bay Bicycles. The author of the new 7-Eleven book will be there to talk about and sign the book. Free wine and cheese, too! (I'll be there.)

^ I reviewed Bob's email and you are correct: theme is fancy lugs, new category is KOF. I'll be bringing my "new" Davidson, Sparrow and '74 Super. Yup - all three orange bikes
If I get out off the rock early enough on Frideay I may be able to get to EBB before the festivities end at 1900. Fingers crossed...

Thanks for posting this information! We've only been up here a year, and these look like fun events. Probably make the Swap Meet - the price is right for us..

Myself, Andycapp and Alex Moll met up around 10am and looked around - I made two circuits in total. Vendors were down to about half of what was there last year - and in years past, for that matter. Weather was superb, so I'm not quite sure what happened.
However, there was some great rare eye candy in the way of older Penny Farthing-type bikes, balloon-tire bikes (quite a few aluminum King City types) and even a 5-piece section of rat-rod bikes.
A couple vendors kept the vintage lightweight theme alive - I spent another $150 to snag a pair of NOS, in the box TA pista pedals (at the Seattle swap a month ago I spent that same exact amount on a Campy Super Record pista pedal pair - weird...). Also snagged a pair of two-bolt cleats for my newest pair of shoes, a couple books for a buck each and one roll of the dice: a hollow titanium BB axle of unknown manufacturer. I'm going to pop on a set of Campyy bearings/cups and see if it'll be compatible. If not, it's a nice $10 paperweight.
Afterward we drove just down the road to McFinsters for lunch and a BS session for another hour. Andy's got some interesting ideas and projects in the pipeline; I'm not going to ruin the surprise, but he's nothing if not ambitious!
Some pics of my swag and some interesting sights at the swap follow.
Rat Rods/Tall Bikes:
Fuji with full Dura-Ace:
Fuji fork crown - understated elegance:
Doesn't this look complicated?
Aluminum balloon-tire:
Custom streamliner:
Streamliner detail:
Swag:
TA pedals:
A fun time - now we just have to get all of the Pacific Northwest BFers together in a few weeks for a spring ride
