I don't use bar mitts...When it's very cold I layer up by wearing a pair of thin gloves and mittens, this set up has never failed me yet.

Almost needed mine yesterday but lucked out because it snowed! They're out of storage and where I can nab them. Probably won't throw them on till mid 20s if dry, or mid 40s like you if it rains.

haha, wait, what? btw just cuz we use them on one ride, doesn't mean they are on for the season. they're not like snow tires for our cars. if I ride in the rain tonight, I'll keep them on. If I stay in & don't ride again until it's just cold, then I may just take them off & use gloves

Threw them on last night. 25f, 10mph wind. Worked perfect

We're having quite the artic plunge here, with temps you don't see till January. Being Iowa you don't depend on the temp staying consistent, so of course today it's 42f, tomorrow the high will be 28f

Infact tonight the temperature is predicted to drop 10 in about an hour and a half so that's tricky but I've finally gotten some gear that can handle temp swings comfortably.
