Vertical Saddle Bag

I'm looking for a saddle bag that hangs lower along the seatpost, one with room for a mini pump. Something very much like the Topeak Mondopack. Does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives. I'm not finding too much available in Canada.

If fitting the mini pump is the problem, have you considered a mount that goes between the bottle cage and the frame?

I use a Lezyne XL Caddy on two bikes that sounds exactly like what you're looking for. Unfortunately, I don't think Lezyne offers them any more. Maybe a search can locate one.

Please disregard this response. I checked on-line and Lezyne retained the "Caddy" name, but did in-fact discontinue the style I previously bought. Now many/all of their saddle bags and bike packing bags have the name Caddy. Sorry.

Well... what wrong with the Mondopack?? I have both versions to interchange, and I think it's the best saddle bag out there. It'll hold a mini-pump. Not only do they work well, but are very aesthetically pleasing too.

I wouldn't have anything else.

I have 3 of these on various bikes. They're great because they will hold a frame pump, plus a third water bottle. The backs of my legs hit the bag sometimes, but I can usually adjust the straps to minimize this. Also, you need probably a medium-sized frame or larger for these to fit properly. I don't think they would do well on small frame sizes, or rather small frames with very little seatpost exposed.

But otherwise, for $14, how can you go wrong?

I ordered the XL and the Hydro thinking I would use the XL more for the extra room, but have used the Hydro more. Use the bottle holder either for an extra bottle, a cylinder shaped Blu-tooth speaker or just a rolled up towel for the summer heat. Many uses for the holder. More than the extender on the XL can provide.
