I feel like I really need this Bianchi but do I?
I stumbled across this while wasting time on ebay while suspended from facebook. It is just an '87 Limited but with a unique paint scheme only used on 2 bikes, at least here in the states. The Metallic Celeste is rather cool as one time it looks pearl whitish and another it looks Celeste. I had the Mondiale version a few years ago with a SL frame and built it with Athena but alas it was just too small.
Here I have the chance to get a unique color Bianchi Formula 2 frame with most of a 6 spd 600 group. The wheels are hideous but maybe I could sell them for $40. I have a very nice set of never used 7spd tubulars I could put on it that would look much more original. I really shouldn't since I am laid off until March but you don't often see a Columbus Bianchi for under $200.

Below is an '87 Mondiale.
Thisis the '87 Mondiale I had and as I said it rode well but was just a bit small. Also not how white it looks

It is a lovely color! Looks complete enough except for wheels. Depends on personal situation, as always. But certainly seems like a bike to get if one is in a position to get a bike :-)

Nice , I don't see that color scheme often. Of course you came to the wrong place to ponder if you really need it - but you already knew that.

If it doesn’t put a squeeze on your finances, yes. Depending on the depth of your parts stash, you could sell wheels and a few other bits off that one for $100.
You came to to the wrong place to get talked out of buying a bike!

It's obvious you know a lot about Bianchis. If you know it to be rare and want it, there's only one course of action. If the cost of said bike will compromise your life during the layoff then let it go, but I suspect there's a greater distance between you and wolf at the door. You could buy it and just let it sit until times get better or trading, wheeling/dealing create a better opportunity to upfit it the way want. Once it's gone, it's gone.
All of that said, you have essentially come to a crack/meth house asking about a sobriety plan

wheels need more spokes, so sell those off.
banned from FB... consider it a gift.

I'm going to say pass, the RD lying on the ground and tireless wheelset on pavement kinda give the vibe of not caring, are they going to ship it correctly? What is that an RS10 wheelset? Not gonna get much for it.
Winter's finally making itself known, take that $200 and go somewhere warm or something to help shake these cold weather blues.
Also, what was the link to that auction...?

Oooh, seller has zero feedback. Proceed with caution. I would not do it.

If you feel like you really need it, listen to your body. It knows what you need, before your brain does. 🤔😁

I'll buy the wheels from you, if it will help.
I do hideous, and they'd really put my latest hideous build into "what was he thinking?" territory.

I loved my Limited.
If Robbie buys the wheels, then I could offer to buy the rest if you acquire it and don't like it.

There is no way to fight them that I can see. They are also blocking my former candidate page.

I do but I don't want to be held responsible for my decision.
There are a few bids on it now so with shipping it is over $210 so looks like a pass.
