I can see dirt, well mud and it's always either too wet to shape or too frozen. Tacky would be ideal.

Sounds like you have a similar 3-season paradise as here: Snow, Mud, Dust.

I like winter, but the snow in the mtns has really been pathetic this year.
I still haven't used my season ski pass.
Meanwhile, I had to shovel my drive 3 times today.

Definitely hating on Winter here. Have been since December basically. And then once spring hits, the trails will just be mud for a while due to the thaw and then we always get rain every few days keeping things nice and muddy. At least I can do some urban MTB and get my legs back some on the road bike then while I wait for some dry days. Go away, Winter, just go away!

^ That's rough! I wouldn't be able to resist going and doing some snowy urban thrashing on that. I'm anxious about using my new stuff and it's just a matter of some jerseys and a telescopic seat-post.

The weather is fine here, if not a bit rainy these last few weeks. I'd take a healthy body & snowy weather over great weather & a bruised knee any day, though.

The high today is only going to be 59, but the weekend is supposed to be in the 70s. Finally a break in the weather. Winter here is brutal.
