Get married. Then you won't have to worry about your testicles because somebody else will own them.

The OCP folks could even have their codpieces in team colors to match their space and compress bikes with outlining LEDs that flashed in time with their cadence.
Exactly. While in my case, at my age they are mostly decorative, somebody has got to come up with shorts that incorporate this concept. Give them their own place and compress elsewhere.

Can't you just find a codpiece and shove it down there in the shorts?

The answer to your problem is Assos's kuku "penthouse". Your boys will certainly appreciate them, I know mine do!

I love Assos, but these kukus run from between $199 and $519 (for the T.campionissimo)? For that kind of money, my "boys" can continue to suffer in their cramped workspace.

My momma always taught us to wear clean underwear in case we were in an accident!

Well, so I was, busted my femur, long story. They cut my shorts off at my protest (vintage Scott Tinley tri shorts). I had on those Life brand Walmart microfiber-ish material (?) briefs. They provide support and when they cut my cloths off I still had something on. Of course, then they cut those off, but at least they were clean.

I rarely wear padded cycling shorts. I like the workout shorts that look like bicycle shorts and then I either wear a brief or a bicycle specific under garment that has built in padding and support.

Bonedragger markets the Wadmaster Big 250 (keep in mind, they're referring to metric sizing).

I went with a Selle SMP saddle as the nose of the saddle drops away so I am not leaning on the package.

I have not read all the responses, but are you sure the issue is not the saddle?

Regarding the shorts themselves, I do find when I am standing up, off the bike, with my legs together everything is a bit more squished then when I’m actually riding the bike.

I merely note that larger shorts will have larger crotches.

Another fan of Segoi shorts. I find that I do less adjusting and less thinking than any of my other shorts. Everything stays in place and no pressure. My Bontranger, Specialized, Trek and Pearl Izumi shorts costing both more and less don't measure up. I think Segoi claims a pouch. I started liking them before I heard that. I like them so much I wear them into the ground as liners for my tights long after they have failed the decency test.

For some of us, larger shorts mean stuff going where it no supposed to. Many shorts I have to buy too small for ultimate comfort for that reason.
