Howdy, I guess.
I always feel lame introducing myself on forums.
I'm Halfpoundbobby.
I was religious about riding bikes from about age 4-19, mostly bmx and road bikes as a teenager.
Fast forward through a decade of not touching a bicycle at all, and here we are.
I recently reacquired my hoarded collection of bicycles from my childhood, and some that predate my existence. So far, I've cannibalized a few into one serviceable mtb/bmx/cruiser/touring thing, and I'm close to finishing with reassembly.
Next up is building a trailer to strap my offspring into so they can accompany me on rides.
I have my eye on completing my first century ride since George W. Bush's presidency, and attempting to make a few bucks building one-off custom bikes. Getting my hands on all these old bikes has been really inspiring.
Thanks for having me.

Welcome. Many of us have gotten back into cycling that we enjoyed in our youth. It’s fun.

Lurk a while, drop right in...we'd all love to hear how your century preparation is coming along.
Make 10 posts around the place and show us your bike(s).
And @Dordetin it's as easy as one pedal down and one up, repeat on the opposite pedals.
