Please recommend a good liner glove

I'm looking for something that is moisture wicking and can provide good warmth when used under lobster claws on super cold rides.

I have a pair of gloves made of Polartec Power Stretch that are very nice. Though perhaps too thick to use as a liner. I use them in the fall with fingerless cycling gloves over top. Mine are the Northface Powerstretch glove, but it looks like several manufacturers have a glove using that material.

Cold weather biking clothing = skiing clothing.

I use my older skiing gloves, and they worked great for downhill and they work even better for biking. Plus warm ski gloves are way less expensive then bike equivalents!

if your lobster gloves are roomy, the liner type probably isn't critical

I have several pair of liner gloves at home. I recently got a pair of lobster gloves. I got size XXL knowing I would probably use liner gloves with them. turns out XXL isn't as big as I thought. I tried two different sets of liners & both feel a big snug for my liking. I'm now thinking about getting some very thin silk type liners. I could only find one hand of the "poly" fabric liners, if I can find the other, they might work

these look good to me, but I might be able to find them locally

Terramar Thermasilk Glove Liner

if you don't have big hands, these would probably work

I use those Terramar Thermasilk Glove liners with my lobster gloves! I also use them on with my long finger cycling gloves when the weather isn't cold enough for the lobster gloves. And they also help out my hands when I hike and run. I have Raynaud's so that extra thin layer is perfect.

I used Defeet Wool gloves from MEC here in Canada.

This link to Google Shopping shows a number of options although I don't know if it will reconfigure the page for US based shopping (although it does include US sources despite me being in Canada). The fingerless ones might be of interest too.

Also a fan of the Terramar Thermasilk liner gloves. They work great for me as a liner under light gloves for temps a bit above freezing and as a third inner layer in the below 0F stuff.

I have these $5 a pair from H&M or any other cheap clothing store thin polyester gloves I use. They've worked fabulously for temps down to -40C.
The good thing about them is that they are light and expendable so you can get a couple of pairs and swap them out if they get wet for some reason.

From 0 to -5C i use my relatively thin fleece XC ski gloves.
From -5 to -10 to -15 I use my marmot shell gloves and potentially liners if I feel like it.
Colder than that and I use the $10 downhill ski gloves I got from Lidl one winter.
I also have lobster gloves but it's never been cold enough that I would have needed them. I bought them on a whim and I've used them twice and both times my hands were drenched in no time.

I use military glove liners for a base layer. The NSN is 8415-01-466-3176. They're 100% acrylic and inexpensive.

I recently bought some black wool military liners, that aren't 100% wool, they're stretchy. But they don't fit inside my Specialized gloves. 😒
But then yesterday, I found some EMS ski gloves, that rock. Someone else mentioned ski wear, it definitely works. 😎

I use a variant of these Arcteryx glove liners : https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/shop/gothic-glove.

When riding, under windstopper gloves, I never get cold hands. I get cold when walking or driving though, but these are meant for being active.

They are very very thin so they fit nicely under a glove.

Grab some of the Ibex merino wool glove liners before they're all gone.

@Samuraidog, my recommendation is glove liners from a store for outdoor workers (eg. construction)

something like this: https://www.marks.com/en/dakota-ther...color%5D=WHITE

Military stuff is seldom the best - lowest cost compliant.

I use a pair of Proskins inner gloves which are fantastic, but I don't know how widely available they are. I don't see them listed on the Proskins website anymore - which is a same, they work really well.

Just offering an alternative to paying big bucks. If you are cheap like me and willing to look for a deal, in USA consider Sportsman's Guide out of Minnesota they regularly sell foreign military surplus, sometimes very cheap. They often have cold weather gear and as for military gear quality, I kept my winter boots (mukluks) when I left the Canadian Army in 1988 and they are still in great shape. Like all things you have to be selective.

Beware that some countries have smaller sizes than we do!!!and read the reviews of others who have gone before you to see if the items is really smaller than it was identified.

Link is https://www.sportsmansguide.com and I have no affiliation with them.

Rab is another brand that sells these. Indeed, these "liner" gloves are too thick for cycling gloves size 12 (XXL) :.-(
