There is a possibility, not likely but still a possibility, of a manufacturing defect somewhere. I raise that possibility because my bike when new had a similar sketchy feel and pulled to the left. After detailed investigation with carpenters level and string I found the front and back wheels were not plumb. The dropouts were not inserted correctly with the result that the axles were not horizontal. A bit of very careful work with a round file fixed the problem. This is not the case with your bike as it was fine before the wheel change. But don't assume new wheels from a known manufacturer are built perfectly.

Okay, guys. Here's where I admit what a total wuss of a nervous, incompetent, old man I am.
As some of you know, I recently acquired a super-nice set of wheels. They are about 1440g, 35mm deep and I have 25mm GP5000s mounted on them. They are noticeably faster than the decent set I was riding before, but I have one complaint. To wit, they scare the snot out of me descending on rough pavement and/or gusty winds. Yesterday, I had a big tailwind on the homeward leg and had a bunch of 30 mph stretches in the drops where I wondered whether I was going to be able to hold it together and stay out of a death wobble. Some of this was clearly mental and went away when I reset my position, shifted weight aft, and relaxed my arms, but I've never had it so bad with any other set of wheels. My inclination is to work on the mental part with progressive exposure, but I am also concerned about the risk. Any helpful suggestions? Anyone think 28s would help?

There have been threads on wobbling and many times there is no apparent reason discovered. It seems that certain combinations of bike/wheel/rider sets up a frequency that causes a wobble.
I had a friend who had a Miele with a wicked death wobble and nothing he did would stop it so he got rid of the bike. I've never had a speed wobble on a bike. Lucky me.

The Ardennes+ I had before let the 25s expand to a measured 28 and I was able to run them quite a bit softer. That was very confidence inspiring, but the wheels were appreciably heavier too. Maybe I'll drop the pressure in the GP5000s 5 psi and see if they behave a little less sketchy.
