Well, most of those reviews are on the Tokyo web site and you may want to take those with a grain of salt since the company had offered $100-$200 in gift card form for posting reviews and videos.
The few proper reviews seemed pretty decent with cons being pulsing braking, quick pad wear and braking noise but overall not bad. Like anything though if they seem to good to be true then...they’d probably be more well known. Ultimately though they’re probably just another Taiwanese open mold wheel manufacturer with the pricing to go with it. I haven’t seen any long term reviews either.
I don’t want to sound like a hypocrite, lots of good manufacturers and direct to client sellers, I myself have a set of Yoleos on the way to try out. But you may not have the same level of quality control, R&D and general feel good about the safety of what’s under you as a name brand.
Lots of in between US builders as well using open molds but to specific standards.

I bought a set about 2 years ago. Ended up returning them, as I couldn't live with the poor braking performance or the flex under load. Had to swap my front tire to the rear on an organized century ride because my rear wheel was flexing enough for the sidewall to contact the chainstay. Put the stock aluminum wheels back on and did not have either problem.
