Sears Roebuck Free Spirit Trike Resto
I have a late 70s Sears Roebuck Trike. 26" wheels. I need new rear wheels. But the 15mm wheels I have seen do not seem to fit. I need a larger diameter hub. Any info on these wheels? Or where I can get a set that will work?

Trike-specific rear wheels would need hubs having very thick axles that are attached to the frame at only their inner end, hence 15mm diameter apparently.
A local shop here was struggling with the very same issue on a trike restoration effort, and called me looking for wheels that might work. Apparently the rusty originals were tossed before any suitable hubs had been sourced, so perhaps they might have thought that I had removed them from the bin at some point (they had seen some of the conservation restorations of discards that I regularly rode on their shop rides).

So we're you able to source a pair of rear wheels? They are 26" wheels. But the newer wheels I have seen online appear to have a smaller diameter where they fit to the rear axel as opposed to the original set.
