Will the 7.4 stand up to some gravel grinding or am I going to destroy my bike?

I wore out the original tires and replaced them with 28mm road tires so, if I were to use the bike for a gravel grinder I would either have to switch tires every time or buy another wheelset and just swap out wheels. I can't find anything online about the weight of the Bontrager Nebula Rims (any ideas). Should I swap tires every time I ride gravel or get a new wheelset?

Wrong approach I think,you need tires swap, more aggressive tires,like those on a DP or other MB. 28 mm tires make it even worse on gravel,,its made for speed,not traction.

Define 'gravel grinder';exactly what kind of riding are you going to do?

Unless you're going to be doing serious off roading(ie,MTBing) your stock rims should be fine. As to whether to swap tires or wheels;swapping wheels is much easier,swapping tires is much cheaper. What's more important,saving time or money?

Thanks for the advice. I realize that the 28mm won't work for gravel now I just need to decide if I want to swap tires or wheels every time I want to ride gravel. Even though swapping tires in going to be a PITA, given the amount of money I spent this year I will probably need to go with the tire swap routine.
