Wheel set for SRAM etap (11 speed, disc)
Hi all,
I'm new to this forum so not sure if posting this under the "general cycling discussion" is good practice. If not I apologize.
I'm looking for some guidance in selecting a new wheelset for my bike (Specialized Tarmac) with SRAM etap (11 speed, disc). I'm getting a bit lost in all technical specs and most webshops I check only have campa/shimano compatible wheelsets.
Can someone point me in the right direction? ie. webshops, wheel brands, ...
Many thanks!

I’m sure you’ll get plenty of help here but the help will only be as good as the info you provide. Things like your weight, age, how you ride, where you ride, etc., all would be useful along with any other info...

SRAM and Shimano are interchangeable, although the new AXS drivetrain requires a different cassette carrier. (I think). Etap should work with any shimano compatible hub.
You need to get the right kind of hub (quick release? Through axle?) too.

What he said, Sram uses the same freewheel as Shimano, Campy is different.
I have Zipp 303 and they work just fine. I can tell you I have used a Shimano Ultegra cassette on my previous bike that had Sram Rival with no problem.

I guess if you are going with a pie-plate cassette with 10 tooth (so not etap of course) you need the xd driver, but for your "normal" 11 or 12 tooth any shimano 11x will work.
