WTB 54cm complete bike
Okay I need to come up with one more bike. The two younger kids have theirs thanks to my fellow BFer's.
Needs to be complete so that I can get it rolling ASAP. I don't mind doing a teardown, clean, relube, consumables replacement (if needed) but I don't have the time to source parts for a frameset up build.
Looking for a 54cm road bike either 700c or 27" wheels would be fine. Would prefer something that will fit at a minimum 28mm tires preferably 32mm. Double butted steel at least, but a nice aluminum bike wouldn't be out of the question. Nothing that uses claw mount RD please. Index shifting very highly preferred.
Purchase will happen after the first of Sept unless I can talk the CFO into releasing some funds early
Let me see what you've got available.

Miyata 912
Trek 412 1982
Trek 400 or so 1983
Centurion Ironman Expert 1989
I don't have pictures from the Miyata.
You can see more pictures of each bike on Cleveland Craig list, Ohio. Last update today.
All bikes are working good, but probably you need too regrase some bearings.
The two Treks each for 220$
The Miyata 290$
The Centurion for 280$
Plus shipping.

Super. Of course, I voted Ironman, but it would have a high chance of getting stolen, and with Suntour GPX, any changes you wanted to make, "down the road" could be a problem.
Now, perhaps I'll start thinking about that Ironman....
I'd make the drive, with a friend in Euclid...
