Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yesterday was actually beautiful weather. But I still had to do fake miles. Drop off daughter to school, show up for early meeting, work till 5, pick up kid, cook dinner, eat dinner, time with kids, get them ready for bed and then Zwift.

Don't know about work, but the rest of that sounds like time well spent.

We use something from time to time. I think it's Beyond Beef. Have to season the **** out of it, but it's not too bad if you don't close attention.

While you were on hiatus mrs datlas and I had a BK date and had impossible whoppers. We have also tried the same stuff from Wegmans at home. It’s ok, but probably best for the veg-curious or newly veg. I have not had meat for 34 years and don’t really miss it, so the idea of a facsimile is not terribly attractive.

We started using because of my wife's very low carb, low fat, no dairy, no grain, and no nut, diet. We needed something other than tofu and eggs for a few meatless meals a week.

I've eaten other meat alternatives for years, but it wasn't until the Christmas road trip that I tried the impossible whopper. It was a bit drier than I expected, given the hype.

What should one make of the claim that they're high in estrogen? What does eating extra estrogen do?

It’s certainly one of the top chocolate places in the USA.

I would not make it. I can live with no or low all of that, but I gotta have almonds and other mixed nuts.

I saw that movie. Chocolate production can be dangerous work. Just ask Augustus Gloop.
