I like bib-shorts. I like them so much that I am tempted to wear them all of the time. It's so nice to not feel the need to hike up my pants every 5 seconds for fear that my butt-crack is showing.

My question is this: Does anyone know of a bib-short-like undergarment that is appropriate for everyday use? Ideally, I would like something resembling a wrestling singlet that is made of a moisture-wicking material.

I work in healthcare and wear scrubs. I also have a tendency to sweat (especially when bicycle-commuting to work). The inevitable sweat stains that show up under my man-bosom (read pecs) and down my back make me feel self-conscious. I've taken to wearing Wal-Mart "performance" underwear beneath my scrubs. The tees and shorts work great at preventing sweat stains on my scrubs, but I am constantly readjusting them and hiking up my pants while working. Bib-shorts would seem to me to be the ideal undergarment for my needs.

Not aware of any undergarments that match your description. Outerwear is something else - Lederhosen, I believe.

But DONT wear them with shorts of any kind. You will look like an 80 year old Florida geezer.

I try not to interfere in the man discussions on their clothing issues but . . .

I know that there are women's tri-shorts without padding or which just have a bit of fleece. I actually like the compression shorts without padding for rides of less than 20 miles. Maybe there are men's tri-bibs without padding?
