Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

The Iris is designed for bottles without the shoulder that regular cages clip into. I use it for an insulated 20 oz. Fifty/Fifty bottle. Works great. If you have a standard cycling bottle with shoulders, get the more secure standard King Cage or their Bottle Lowering Cage.

As an owner of this exact cage, this has been my experience as well. They're not the sleekest looking on a road bike, but would look good on a gravel bike, in my opinion.

I use the King Cage Iris to hold stainless-steel Hydroflask bottles. They don't fall out on bumpy single track, nor in my gravel race experience while hitting horrible pot holes (while so many others were losing their bottles).
