Top of the line lugged Trek mtb. for $70. If it wasn't at the end of the earth, I'd be all over it. [edit] looks like a replacement fork. Maybe I don't mind it being so far.

Somebody stop me before I buy again!

Does that answer your question? I'd see if I could talk him down to $400. If not, it's still a decent deal.

I believe the problem with that ad is that there is no way to contact seller, or else I was seriously thinking of having a friend pick this up for me here in houston for a girl who wants me to find her a bike on the cheap.

Dont take this baby on the Tour de France but its perfect for riding to and fro especially if you dont
mind the fact that you'll get a little extra workout from this sold (okay its heavy) old school beauty. Great shape, new tires, recent tune up and
waiting for someone with the oomph to hop on and get moving.

Vintage Bianchi Campagnolo-Celeste - $700 (East Side Milwaukee)

Vintage 1982 Bianchi Giro road bike 58cm with Campagnolo Athena gruppo made with coveted Columbus SLX chromoly. Everything is Campy except seat post. It has an 8 speed cassette giving it 16 speeds.

Very low miles as I had it stored in the attic for the last 25 years. Has had a recent tune-up and lubrication with new Continental Gatorskin tires and tubes and new celeste bar tape. Almost mint condition and I even have touch-up paint which will be included. I was going to keep it but it is too radical a racing position for my old body and regrettably I have to sell this beauty.

One could part it out and sell the vintage Campagnolo parts on eBay and make a profit and then keep the frame and make it into an awesome fixie, but I am way too lazy to bother.

56cm Mystery chrome lugged frameset with a bunch of chrome goodness. NOS. Says that it could from Argentina. The three chrome stripes on the middle of the tubes make this a unique looking frame. $200 BIN price. It's a boat anchor at 8.5 lbs.

It looks cool as crap, but I'm leery because of the weight. Probably an ornate looking cheap bike like an early Atala. Very deceiving.

Not a screamin bargain with the shipping. But this is sort of the cutoff year for my taste in vintage bikes and especially french bikes. Post 1976 bikes started getting Japanese parts and the frame decorations went downhill. Check out all the cool decals on the frame. Has all the good quality french components and an Ideale saddle.

The kicker for me are the cheap looking dropouts. There is just a lack of refinement to this frame that even chrome can't cover. No bottle braze ons and the bits that are brazed on also look cheap. The final blow is weight. My goodness, 8.5 pounds?! The frame must be made of .250" wall water pipe.

54cm BIANCHI Road Bike - $200 (Appleton, Wisconsin)
https://appleton.craigslist.org/bik/2198148677.html

The seller, Jay, is a local flipper who seems to know his bikes pretty well. Never met him face-to-face, but he deals with better than average stuff - not big box store crap.

I could help with the shipping, if you do the buying.

older aluminum framed cannondale. Downtube index shifters. needs a rear brake and brake cables. Would make a great project. Light bike. Previous owner spray painted handlebars white. Reach me easiest by text message or email. 978 302 7876. Will include the look cx7 pedals too
