Santana Quad Available

I have a Santana quad that is free to a good home. I purchased it in 2008 or so and probably have less than 500 miles on it. My wife sort of retired from cycling and my kids and I rode our triple for multiple years. The kids have gone to college and now I am just storing it.

I live on the East side of Cleveland, OH. No interest in shipping or trying to figure that out. If you want it, reach out and we can arrange a pick up time.

Love the color assortment on the bottle cages.

If I know anyone looking for a quad, I'll mention it. Alas, our 2-seat Vision is unused as my wife's knees are shot and my son just doesn't like riding with his paternal power source.

If you can hold it for 30 days, I will personally pick it up.

And, I'll bring you several good bottles of wine.

Still available?

If still available, I could pick up as I have an 18 foot car hauler trailer and just love Santana's

Would love to hear what the disposition of this classic is? Just looking at that chain ring makes my head spin! Very cool bike.

Yeah, that's probably the reality of it. Would be like captain of a pair of double trailers making turns.

I once rode on the back of a triple. It was pretty wobbly. This is newer and might not be as bad. The triple was made in something like 1949.

Back when my wife and I started riding tandem late 80's early 90's we took a drive to Santana located in Upland, CA I believe. In the shop was a quad bike like this one. It's no small feat to weld up something on this scale. Being a Santa, would bet this quad is a fair bit sturdier than the bike you rode. Still seems like an exercise in excess. Our LBS had built quite a clientele of tandem riders, coalescing the group by hosting regular group rides, tech and rider sessions. Those were some good times. Still have our Santa Sovereign which is a beautiful bike.

I (new owner) can't always round up three friends (suckers) for a ride.

If you are in Portland, feel free to borrow it for an afternoon or weekend. No charge. Well, maybe a beer.

Robert
