We have toured on a 32 spoke Velocity Dyad rear 145 spaced near dishless wheel. That said the weight of the team and touring gear on board and tire width all need to be of consideration, along with the intended riding surface and condition. In our case the roads were reasonably good, the stoker was 120#, and we were credit card touring. Since a mechanical can make or break a tour, the easy go to safe recommendation is to have more spokes and a good strong rim having a nice deep section profile. The Velocity Chukker comes to mind. FWIW, a 145 spaced wheel (a standard set in 1997) is either dishless or near dishless, with most being the later. The dishless ones I have seen, now many years ago, had Phil Wood hubs with flanges that were visibly closer together, at least to me, than other hubs.
