@IBRyan, a website is like a racing bicycle. It doesn't matter how much carbon it has, how it shifts electronically, how light it is, and how much wind tunnel time was involved in its creation if if drops the chain every time you go up to the big ring.
This is what I mean about it being a bad idea to add new features before you fix current problems.
Having a new bike automagically upload your ride to Strava is neat...if you could actually ride without being afraid to eat pavement.
Adding more features to a poorly performing site just makes it a poorly performing site with more features.

I got a quote notification but quotes are missing from my CP
I tried a mention, the text is there in the editor but in the post the name disappears.

The whole "back to the subforum this thread is in" button isn't working for you?

Do we no longer have an option to restore a damned lengthy post we weren't finished with when your site crashes?

I hadn't noticed that too be honest. That's good but still not as good as full breadcrumbs. It only takes you back to the previous forum you're in. And the breadcrumbs should be above the quick reply box, directly under the last post of the page so no further scrolling is required.

I have a question. When reading/scrolling down to the bottom of a thread, directly below the reply button, is a "Back to subforum" button that takes up an entire line of real estate. Then directly below the "View next unread" button, there is another button taking another entire line that does the same thing returning to top of the Sub forum. Just seems redundant?

@jimincalif - Thank you! Happy to hear it is operating better!
@Zinger - I do not believe there is an option to do that, but it is something we can look into adding in the future!
@the sci guy - we can look into putting bread crumbs back in. At the moment, we are just trying to fix the immediate issues caused by the update.
@FBOATSB - we can look into how to use the space more efficiently.

YAY! Another "let's be more like disgracebook" "feature".
Sorry, but I have always viewed "likes" as unnecessary, irrelevant, additional clutter on pages. I hate reading forums where half the page is taken up with "likes".
I personally don't care, at all, if someone likes my post. I'm not that insecure where I need some person's 'internet high-five' for something I wrote.

Did you guys not log our complaints into a backlog and track them?
I'm not going to go through a 1 year old, 19 page thread and recount every bug logged there by users. You should be paying someone to do that.
BF needs to get its act together. The site is getting worse each update, not better.
Pet projects like, "Like Buttons", are cute, but don't help the core product.

The Like button was requested by many users so, darned if we do, darned if we don't.
You have often been very critical of how this site is. You've offered slight suggestions which have been passed on but your suggestions were halted because you wanted to be paid for that. That's fine and perhaps the best way to make a difference is to go online, apply to be on board as a paid tech and BOOM! Make that difference!

You guys didn't fix the bugs introduced in the update a year ago, now you are adding more features?

That's not smart. That simply adds more things to break.
Get it together. BF has way too many competitors with more traffic, more features, and fewer issues.
Adding "likes" won't make this site better.

And I hate to say this considering our history together with you being a moderator at one time (I would think that you understand the process of being owned by a huge company) but I am sorry that this place upsets you so. It appears that this forum is no longer a fit for you. You don't have any obligation to stay.

Sometimes upgrades over ride the last one.
