Conversion complete! I wonder if this is the $75 Diablo frame that sat on CL for months that found a home and was built into this.

Seller seems like someone who would fit in here. Includes original bill of sale.

https://omaha.craigslist.org/bik/d/c...305930289.html

1981 Trek 614 - $100 (Council Bluffs)

Trek was just getting big. This is a steel, lugged frame, classic the forerunner to their touring bikes. Built when bikes were made to last. Most are original parts as I had it set up on purchase in 1980. Chain and both tires/tubes were swapped a few times and need to be again. I know it’s old, but I’ve got 40 years of biking tied to it, it’s been on Ragbrai 9 And 10 and spent much time on the roads of Minnesota and South Dakota. This is a hard sell, but at 70 and with a move to Florida it’s gotta go. Will hear reasonable offers

Nice looking tall Schwinn 354 between Oceanside and Riverside CA (I've never heard of Temecula). Clearly needs work and no drive side photos but looks worthwhile

Vintage Schwinn 354 5000 AL - $120 (Temecula)

Vintage aluminum schwinn bike. Haven’t used in ages. Tires flat but probably just need to be pumped up. All original parts. If interested please text me at 951-Five01-Nine325

Diamondback Venture for $40 in Denver - seems reasonable. If I was there, for $40 more I'd also grab the Schwinn Sierra GSL and flip that out for more than $40.

I'd be a little wary of that one. All of the pictures are identical to a former listing of an RB-1 out in Portland, OR.

Trek 620? in CO - $120

Here's another Trek 620 (I believe) up near Breckenridge, CO. Only the one photo. Some rust visible around the headset (and a very rusty chain). Hard to say about the frame. Priced at $120, down from $150; probably could be had for $100 or less.

If you look closely you'll see a significant dent in the top tube below the rear eyelet for the brake cable.

Nice. Thankfully too small, and too far away to be a temptation anyway.

Between the two 620's, I'd take the dent at 200 over the buried seatpost.

54cm Merckx Corsa Molteni with all alloy 9 speed Campy Daytona - $950 (Roslindale, Boston

Letting go of my 54cm Merckx Corsa Molteni with all alloy 9 speed Campy Daytona. The frame was built in 89/90 nearest I can tell and has a beautiful flat crown fork along with internal top tube cable routing. TT is 55cm c-c, ST is 54 cm cc, and HT is 12.5 cm. Columbus SL tubing. Paint is very much showing it’s age and could use a repaint in the future, along with some pitting in the chrome. No dents or dings thankfully. Groupset is quit clean. Crankset is 53/39 with 170 arms and a 13-26 cassette. I overhauled the ergos less than 500 miles ago along with new tape and cables. Wheels are Fir rims laced to Centaur hubs. Has a classic Campy aero post with well used Flite saddle. Can include Turbo as an alternative saddle. Chris King threaded headset along with 110 cm Nitto Pearl stem and 44cm Nitto 176 Dream bars. Pedals, bell, and bottle cages not included. $950 firm.

I thought these were usually north of $300? I get it doesn't match but still

Phoenix Az

https://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/b...306713577.html

Own A Piece Of Arizona Cycling History! - $300 (Sun City)Domenic Malvestuto was born in Italy during WWII. He grew up to be a very accomplished cyclist and even competed in the World Cycling Championships in Czechoslovakia in 1969. He emigrated to the US and settled in Tempe in 1979. He opened Domenic's Cycling Imports, where (due to his ties to Italy) he was able to import many upscale Italian road bicycles which were not readily available elsewhere in the US. Domenic ran his bike shop (which became known as "Domenic's 2 Wheelers") until his death in 2011. His widow, Judy, still continues to run the family bike shop in Tempe to this day. Domenic also ran a cycling team in Tempe - The Strada Team. This Italian Vicini was one of those team bikes. It still has the team decals on the frame, as well as a few minor scratches and paint chips which mark it as a warrior and a competitor from days gone by. The 54cm lugged steel frame is constructed from Columbus tubing. The rear derailleur is a Campagnolo Nuevo Gran Sport, and the front derailleur is Campagnolo as well. It has a Mavic Open Pro wheelset with new Continental 700x23 tires and a 6-speed gear cluster on the rear wheel. The alloy crankset is an Italvega Grand Sprint with two chainrings. It has a 3ttt alloy stem and ITM alloy handlebars. The brakes are Suntour with Modolo levers. It also has a fluted Brev alloy seat post and a San Marcos "Rolls" saddle. The pedals are MKS Sylvan. I put an after-market long cage on the rear derailleur and large gears on the rear wheel and rode this bike at the Eroica California vintage bicycle ride for the last two years (76-mile route both years). Eroica California is North America's largest vintage bicycle ride, and this Vicini performed flawlessly and received a lot of compliments, as there are not that many Vicinis here in the States. If you are looking for a bicycle that is vintage and bursting with character and pedigree, you won't do any better than this Team Strada Vicini - especially at this price!

I don't normally post fixed gear "conversion" but this frame is so cool...
Plus it looks like my size.

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...306776079.html

Raleigh Team Professional Fixed Gear Bike - $750 (Newton)

This is a fixed gear conversion of a 1985 Raleigh Team Professional bike frame, in the Team Panasonic colors.
This was a race caliber Raleigh bike from that period. The frame is made out of the top of the line Reynolds 531c (C for competition) steel tubing.
It is set up with a flip / flop hub and both front and rear brakes.
It is in cosmetically excellent condition (please see the photos) and I will include a spare white chain.
I am asking $750 OBRO.
Thanks.

1977 Nishiki International - $100 (Venice)

Japanese Steel! 58 cm Vintage 1977 Nishiki International 10-speed road bike. Brooks Leather saddle. bar-end shifters.. mostly original. But it could definitely use some new handlebar tape. Ride the Florida flats in Style!! I may be able to deliver depending on location.

Miyata 914 for $160 I sold mine for way more than $160 and frankly it wasn't this nice. Even the hubs match. Catch is it's halfway between Binghamton and Albany, NY

My job was to give this bike a cleaning and tune-up for sale. Money from sale will be donated to Youth for Christ. It works flawlessly, has no damaged parts, and rides very nicely!

Thanks for looking!
