Very nice! Had I not recently purchased a Holdsworth Professional this would get strong consideration by me. Good luck with the sale.

Oh man...had I not just purchased PCB’s Mikkelsen, this would be headed to CA.

Good luck with the sale.

Payment sent... This is exactly the sort of frame I had in mind when I was hesitating over a couple of other bikes/frames I almost pulled the trigger on lately. Really excited!

My apologies! It's such a wonderful frame and I know it'll find a buyer soon... Alas, my quest continues. I promised myself this summer I'd find a frame that I shall adore for years to come without making any serious concessions. I need my eyelets.

Eyelets could be added to this one pretty easily.......

Well, they could be, but a frame c. 1970 would have them attached to the Campagnolo drop outs as an option - so it would require new chrome. I'm very into period-correct restorations so that would be a lot of extra investment on top of the initial cost of the frame.

Having a Bob, I'm here to say they ride lighter than they are. I rode mine on Thunder Ridge, 53/39 DA.
I did not see another "standard" crankset the entire day. You punch it, it moves.

Off topic, yes, but I say the same thing about my Japanamount.^^^^Which is just slightly smaller than this frame, and slightly too big for me.

...interesting. i am also struggling with lack of eyelets, but can you give a rough idea of max tire sizes (700) that work with this beauty?

not sure, and I think it depends on brake choices. I set it up with Tektros and the front rubbed with a cross tire. Regular road tires were fine. I'll have to check the sizes. There would probably be more clearance with centerpulls.

thanks - less worried about caliper interference, more curious about headroom to fork crown and width between chainstays etc. Close-up photos while it's wearing some familiar tire sizes just to see the gaps would be ideal...

@niliraga I would have come back to it as well by this point even if the price were still the original $325, but I decided to jump on two different frames on Ebay UK... Glad it'll be going to a forum member! Do post photos after you build it up.
