I have read many TransAm ride journals that expressed concern for occurances of unfriendly drivers in the Ozarks from around Farmington all the way to Marshfield. Some would disagree. The number of writers who have commented about drivers in the Missouri Ozarks has been enough for me to consider a detour north from Chester, IL to St. Louis and the Katy Trail.
