Is $700 too much for 2005 Cannondale R1000

Pardon my ignorance. This would be my first bike. Any comments and suggestions would be helpful.

The bike is in good condition.
Details about the bike at:

Not at all. Hopefully by "good condition", you mean true wheels, no dents, minor cosmetic blemishes and working components, not at all.

That's where that bike would be in my neck of the woods, it's essentially 8 years old.

Thanks guys. I found your feedback helpful. I was also checking on Ebay and the bike was going for $700 only with newly upgraded components or with a ton of accessories. This particular bike had already had 3 owners in the past. The original asking price was 900, I got it down to 700 but the deal finally fell apart when the seller walked away.
