Now see here's a difference... A woman forgets her bra, all the guys are going "All right!" whereas a guy forgets his underwear and NO ONE wants to see that.

I actually forgot my underwear last week. Of course I already keep spare clothes at the office so it wasn't a big deal. Comes in handy other times too, like when I tore a big hole in my pants one time.

Speaking of socks... Am I the only one who rides in work socks? My work socks are thin and nylon/polyester/whatever (not much cotton) so I just ride in and then wander around with no shoes for half an hour or so to make sure they're nice and dry before I put on my work shoes.

I'll wear my biking socks right into the office, so I'll be sitting there in black dress pants, pinstriped shirt, and skull & crossbones socks.

Commando is fine. Done it a couple of times, but I have spares that live at the office now.

Not changing socks? That's gross. Then again, so are my feet. Yuck.

Doesn't happen to me - I always leave a whole change of clothes at the office in case of emergency only. Socks and undies are the most utilized, but not because I forget them. If it rains, my socks and/or undies can get soaked. A nice dry set waiting at work is always a good thing.

anyone ever split their pants at the seams while at work. I did once. Luckily it was winter and I had a long waisted jacket. As it was, everyone knew I wear whitey tighties. What if I had been commando. I always have a extra pair of everything waiting for me at work.

I have never split a seam at work, but I still keep an extra everything. Just in case.

it was late in the day or maybe I'd wanted to have gone home. Maybe we should keep an extra of everything at work, even on non bike days ; following that experience. glad I was not wearing the red boxers with the green bears on it, that my wife likes me to wear on Valentines' day. She likes bears.

Haha. On another note, nice to see a fellow Winnipegger!

I've always wondered about the, "What if you split your pants while going commando in the middle of a busy road?" thing...

I have done this several times.

I am thinking of keeping what I call "contingency shorts" in my desk.

Some of us didn't know any better. And then when we knew better, our Victorian instincts kicked in and prudery prevented us from going commando. :-)

At work , I would not like feeling commando. For me its just Too free. I like the more confined feel. Still, as stated above should I split my pants; I don't want to show off my wife's favorite gummy bears. Think I'd wear bike shorts first , over nothing at all.

Might want to add a sewing kit to your emergency stash, a stapler isn't always appropriate.

Commando = nobigdeal. Underwear really only affects the cleanliness of your trousers. As far as them splitting at work, how often does that happen? Anyhoo, nobody will die if they accidentally see your junk.

Maybe should your plants split at work, likely others would like your gummy bear shorts stop your junk from affecting the fabric on the chairs. Maybe I split my pants at work once in 20 years. But, it had to happen at work.Think the previous time I split my pants open wide, it was in grade school.
