Centurion Cinelli Equipe
I’m trying to figure out what this is worth. It is about 80% original. Non consumable parts not original are rims, brake levers and pedals. I can’t find a brand name on the rims. The Universal brake levers replaced the Beat up Shimanos that were on it when I got it. The levers that go with the Universal AER brakes are pretty much unobtanium so I went with levers the same brand as the brakes. I did a down to the frame overhaul cleaning and polishing as I went.
so...thoughts on it’s worth?

Under appreciated bike IMHO. Yes, the original Universal levers they came with (CX?) are near impossible to find. I managed to find an NOS set for my Equippe; not terribly cheap. Yours shows nicely. In the current market, an Ebay sale would be near the 800 mark.

Those brakes look like Universal AER's.
Agree about how hard it is to find hoods for those levers. Universal hoods were so thin and fragile that they tended to dry out and rot when you just look at them.....

Dang! That's a really fine dime piece!!! You can never ask for more. So, I'd start at $1K and be ready to come down a little. But, not much.

Here in Southern California I’ve only seen a few come up for sale. One in particular I watched for a while. It was original owner and in very good shape. I think it sold for about $1k and that was over a year ago. Yours is in fine condition and I would expect that it would sell at around that mark, it could go higher. This classic bike market is variable , to say the least.

For a local sale, I don't think Mesa, AZ is that strong, certainly not as good as the southern CA market. In checking your C/L, I see a bunch of over-priced flip bikes that will likely. appear again and again. And then I see a handful. of great deals that haven't moved.
The "trick" is finding someone of the right size that wants a top of the line vintage bike. When you find that person, its an easy sale. Until then, you have to be patient.

I bought that bike! loving it so far! me using it as I do- don't blame me, I also commute on a zunow z-1. even with the race gearing it takes the hills well and is stable and smooth over some of the roughest roads in the country. fast and stable- beautiful combination.
