Hello from Southern Ontario

Hello all just getting back into biking, i am currently rebuilding my kld Giant Boulder SE. I know from reading the other forums that it is not the greatest of bikes but I am on a budget and I do like the frame even though it is a bit heavy. It is still lighter than my old Ttek 820. I have made some minor upgrafes to it already. I have changed the rear derailer from the shimano acera to a shimano Deore amd also rear rim so I can install the deore hydrolic disc brakes and also went from the freewheel hub to a casset hub with 11 gears up fron the 7 that were there originally. Having some issues with the new front forks that I have recently recieved. The originals qere suntour amd a friemd sold me a set of rock shox reba for a steal so I couldn't resist getting them only to discover that it has a tapered steerer tube not sure if i can get ak adapter or anything to get them to fit properly would really like any help that anyone can offer thanks

Welcome to Bike Forums ExecChef. As this is the Introductions forum, where you are supposed to tell us a bit about yourself, you questions will not likely get seen by the members who can help you. I suggest asking your questions in our Mechanics forum. https://www.bikeforums.net/bicycle-mechanics/

Welcome from NorCal! Good luck with the fork. You might want to post in the mechanics section here and perhaps they can help you.
