Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

First, Sorry to Is01 and Mo. Job stress and Family stress both suck.

Update on bent bike forks. I'm going to name my home shop Barbaric Bike Shop. Straightened them with pipe (actually old bumper jack support) which I chamfered the biting edge and put a piece of inner tube between. Turned out OK. Used a yard stick to compare. PS sorry about big pic. I'll have to figure that out.

Do it.

Bonus, walking stick collections take up less space than bicycle collections.

Sorry to hear about your bro’s MoAlpha. Best advice other than listening is suggest they each get into counseling, ideally with someone who does CBT.

Thanks. They have both had counseling and meds on and off. I really think youngest bro could benefit from CBT. Middle bro is a thornier issue.

I could see they were bent just below the fork crown, so I just straightened there. Almost ready for test drive.

One of the guys in my club sent me an article on them yesterday. I feel like I've been hearing that the replacement to the pneumatic tire is imminent for all of my adult life.

Sadly it’s on them at this point. I hope the fog clears and they both come to positive resolution. I’m certain you’ve done all you can. Again positive thoughts

Just heard that former NBA player Shaun Bradley was hit by a car while riding his bike back on 1/20 and is now a paraplegic. Sad.

Yeah man. You've used all the runway on the pads you have on there now.
