Wish I could, just don’t have the $$$. Looking closer, the parts alone should be worth the asking price. It’s only a 30 min drive for me, so perhaps I can facilitate the sale for another member.

Right, how does someone manage to butcher it exactly the same way TWICE?

The one that will cause my divorce...

Guy's letting it go for $80.00. I'm going to like this re-build. He says it's an 87, but it's an 86 according to the catalogues I've looked at. Schwinn Prelude 62cm.
**Update** owing to how much rust was present, he let it go for $50. I was only interested in the frame.

Giro d'Italia? I have a Professional but if I were in the Chicago area I might consider chatting with the seller over this one - not high end but pretty and $85. Yellow is one color I don't have, but I do have too many otherwise. One pic, no drive side of course...

It had far more rust than the pictures showed, but it was sound, I'll just have to completely disassemble it, have it blasted and powdercoated. He took $50.

Raleigh International with Campagnolo Nuovo Record 58cm - $350 (Cambridge)

Raleigh international 58cm seat tube c-t-c. 1972 judging by the patent mark on the rear derailleur. Mostly original, Campagnolo NR crank, derailleurs, headset, bottom bracket and shifters. Correct weinmann vanqueur brakes, slotted levers with Carlton hoods. Pedals were swapped out at some point as where the hubs, small flange Shimano with oil port covers to mismatched rims.

Pretty firm on the $350, only other one I saw on craigslist is $1190! This might not be as pretty but the same ride!

Call or text me at 617-792-1970 to set a time to see and test ride the bike. Please refer the Raleigh international bike ... Thank you!

1985 Trek 600 Road Bike w/Reynolds 531 cs/Cinelli/Dura-Ace components - $375 (Cambridge)

For sale is a beautiful 1985 Trek 600 Road Bike w/Reynolds 531 cs tubing and Cinelli/Dura-Ace/600 components. It has a 59cm frame and has a very comfortable geometry for a rider on the tall side. It is in very good condition and has excellent components. I just got new brake pads put on it. It has a timeless aesthetic quality and is obviously built to last.

The only issue with the bike is that the front kevlar tire is out. It needs a new tire.

375 OBO

Tried to buy this but guess I was too late:

This isn't cheap but for the right person ..

https://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/b...890484683.html

And I've never seen on of these before. Very cool-looking touring bike with 650b wheels. Too small for me or might not be posting it.

1985 Raleigh 53cm Portage touring bike 650b Hanjo fenders **great condition!**. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Parcel Select Ground.
I'm a mechanic with two and a half decades worth of experience and I'm thinning the herd for an upcoming tour. So sad to let go of this beauty but I don't ride it like I should anymore after buying my custom border smasher. This rare bike has been tuned and is just awaiting a bearing replacement to be absolutely perfect again (am willing to order and include in price after auction)I've outfitted her with Hanjo hand manufactured fenders and a Pletscher two-arm kickstand as well as a flickstand to round out the perfect standby set up. shipping price includes professional packing.

Odd French bike for sale in Vancouver

Vital-Sprint, looks late 70's early 80's with lots of anodized French bits, Reynolds 531, and some nice frame work. Looks to be all original too (Though I wouldn't know as I've never heard of this make before).

Vintage Raleigh Portage - $200 - Boston - 650b - wish I lived closer

Nice condition with some good vintage parts. This bike was 650b way before 650b became a thing. Cool high-flange hubs and canti brakes. Close-up photos show an exceptionally clean bike with minimal wear for a CL offering.

It can be seen at the owner's garage sale tomorrow - and he's got a bounce house for sale - maybe a package deal?

If you want original, it's been updated. I like what they did with it. It came with middle ground components. Often described as cult classic, so that's where that price comes from. Whenever I see an xo-1 around here, it's floating in the $1000 range...

$475 is way too high. If it were an earlier XO-1 and hadn't had all the parts swapped out for mediocre "retro-style" ones, then maybe. You don't even get the Brooks!

Here's the story on 1994 XOs from the Retrogrouch blog:

"In 1994, the XO-1 was dropped from the lineup. The only XO bikes in the catalog were the XO-3, 4, and 5. The 3 model had a lugged frame somewhat like the much nicer XO-1, as well as the original mustache bar, but other details of the frame (such as the lovely fork crown - now gone), along with the component choices, marked it as a lower-cost entry. "

Vintage De Rosa Professional Steel Bike - $825 (Wakefield)

Circa 1984/85 Italian De Rosa bike built of Columbus SLX tubing with Dura Ace components for sale. This was one of the top bikes available during that era, ridden by professionals and built by one of Italy's iconic framebuilders. And it rides wonderfully - very quick and responsive. It looks beautiful too. It has some paint chips and chrome weakness in areas (see pics), but the frame is straight with no dings/dents, the original decals (except the Columbus sticker) are fully intact, and the metallic paint is lustrous and really shines in the sun. The bike measures 53cm center to center on the seat tube and 54 cm ctc on the top tube, with about a 31" standover height, and so would be best for someone of medium size - perhaps 5-6" to 5-10". Will include vintage Campagnolo pedals (not shown) and period correct saddle in excellent condition. Asking $825.

Thanks Curbtender and TenGrainBread. What attracted me is the Rivendall handlebars/shifters, the brooks saddle, the Schwalbe marathons and the color. I know some Bridgestone models are sought after, but I did not think this XO-3 is one. It looks like it could be a nice commuter/errands bike. Think I will send a feeler out to them. This is some sort of business place, but I do not know what. It is in a lot of local Craiglist ads and some local shopper type papers. I had not seen it on C'list but I only look at that occasionally. I live about 25 miles from there, but it is a weekend at the beach and Cruisers(classic cars/hotrods) are in town. Thanks again
