Praxis Cycles = incredibly good customer service
The NDS arm of my Zayante crank snapped last Sunday while riding. It sucked since I was a few miles from the end and it wasnt a flat 3 miles to pedal 1 footed.
After contacting Praxis and providing pics, they were confused because what happened apparently hasnt happened before. Praxis thinks the spacer/washer combo was set up wrong(im not sure as I set it up originally, but it was worked on during RAGBRAI a couple months ago by a shop).
Regardless of why it happened, they agreed to send out new crank arms, rings, bottom bracket, and washer/spacers. Its already in the mail and they provided a return label for me to send back the original.
I originally bought the Zayante because I liked the 5 arm look and had read all the great reviews of their chainrings. This sort of service is what creates repeat purchases.
Just wanted to mention this since there are so many threads about companies/brands that disappoint/frustrate.

Nice. I have two bikes with their cranks and rings and they are great IMO. CS i can only speak to as they helped me with questions but i had very positive communication with them so this quality of care from them isn’t surprising. They seem like a great company.

I don't see how that could have happened if it was tightened all the way down. Seems like it wasn't sitting deep enough on all the splines. That bolt should be doing about zero work most of the time. Have another shop make sure the bottom bracket is the correct width for that crank along with the spacers.

Yes, the bolt sheared off...snapped in half. part is in the crank spindle and half is in the NDS crank arm.
Due to the awesome service by Praxis, all is well. I dont ride that bike more than a handful of times between August and winter, so it's not like I'm in need of that bike right away, and itll be back and running in a handful of days.

Praxis is awesome! I've bought many items from them and had a bunch of questions and they are always willing to help out. Top notch for sure! Other companies should learn from them.
