SOLD: 25" 1973 Schwinn World Voyageur
This is a case where the word rare is objectively true. I've never seen another World Voyageur in this size. My working theory is that the original owner, who was a career Schwinn employee (I believe in the maintenance department) requested one in his size after seeing the original '73 World Voyaguers and someone with clout at Schwinn complied. Titlist FD, Le Tour GT-300 RD, Dura Ace 53/39 with pants guard, "Criep Rider" post, etc.
I do not have the original wheels, freewheel, pedals, saddle or brake levers. Current wheels are 36h Sansin hubs laced to Araya rims with 1 1/8" Pasela tires with 14-32 Suntour freewheel. Brake levers are Gran Compe. The frame and original components have been fully disassembled, thoroughly cleaned and repacked with fresh grease where applicable. I do have a period correct Schwinn/Suntour "gold" freewheel with skip-tooth large ring that I will include. No saddle or pedals are included.
SOLD. Asking just $325 net of fees and buyer covers shipping.

Very cool. I've never seen one in that size (my size) either. Has my all-time favorite bars; same as came on my mid-70s LeTour. Is that shellac over orange tape with orange button thread for finishing? Looks very slick and well integrated.
This one is on my list.
If my selling season continues as well as it has so far, I might be contacting you in the next couple months. But don't hold it for me.

With the cream tires I think it's the raddest looking bike I've seen on BF. I've gone looking for those pics before . Thanks for digging them up.
