How to true carbon/aluminum wheel
Question: How does one true an aluminum wheel with a carbon fairing?
I am running a pair of Bontrager Aeolus Comp 5 wheels, which are aluminum with a 50mm deep carbon fairing. I am using clinchers and tubes. These were purchased secondhand (with ~300 miles), and now have ~6,100 miles. Both wheels are still pretty good, but I'd like to make some very minor adjustments.
I'm not sure if this type of wheel requires a special tool or technique; any advise would be appreciated.

No difference, other than maybe the spoke key (maybe an internal driver needed?), you will need to research the one you need, but it will be available from the Park Tools range, and others

Those use hex head internal nipples--I forget the size, but get https://www.parktool.com/product/3-way-internal-nipple-wrench-sw-15?category=Wheel%20%26%20Spoke and you'll be covered. It's a bit of a pain in the ass.

Agreed in the PIA of nipples requiring tires off to access. Only thing worse is when they're sew ups Andy
