Levi's Out of the Tour - Broken Wrist

It is unfortunate about his broken wrist, wonder how this may affect the Tour for Lance. I'm sure Lance was counting on Levi in the Alps..

well, at least he doesn't have to face the probability of eventually sacrificing his GC hopes for LA or AC.

Kloden moves up. I guess Menchov is now 26th as well. Too bad for Levi, big fan.

That could be a blow. He's a solid rider. Hope he makes a full recovery. Lance will probably recruit him for next year.

That's bad for Astana. I'm sorry to hear. I like Levi.

I seriously doubt that Levi had any hopes on being the GC contender for Astana. Not with Lance and Alberto both riding well.

It sucks that he is out, he is one of the classiest riders in the peloton.

Anyone have a footage of the accident? I can't believe it..seems too coincident [my thought was that Levi was the right-hand man for Lance chance to win over Contador]. Will this be the deciding factor for Lance to win the tour?

Again, anyone have the footage? much appreciate

Too bad. He had a good chance at a top-10 finish.

I think this impacts Lance way more. He just lost a major support rider.

There are some pictures up on Levi's twitter of him actually having the surgery. 22mm Ti screw in one of the bones in his wrist. Its a bummer I really like Levi.

Wow, that's sad. I was hoping for Levi to do some good and get some glory this year.

The Pope broke his wrist too.

Coincidence? I think not. Have you ever seen Levi and the Pope together?

This isn't as bad for Astana as it is for Armstrong. Astana still has the best team in the Tour with or without Leipheimer. Levi was going to be Armstrong's big helper in the mountains this year. The apparent rift between Armstrong and Contador is very real. People are taking sides.
