Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cycling products that changed your cycling life

What products/items have you found that really made a difference in your cycling life? I'm not really talking full bike set ups here, so no "going from a XMart to a Tarmac really made cycling easier!" Nope. Products, items, small details that you didn't realize you were missing until you found them. What do you love? What can't you live without?

A few of mine:
Go Towels.
White lightening chain lube.
Upgraded gloves.

PowerTap (affectionately known as the suck-o-meter) to remind me to keep on pushing, prevent me from getting lazy or over exerting myself.

Clipless pedals/shoes
well-fitting chamois (bibs or shorts -- prefer bibs but they're not life-altering)

butt'r (but only really matters on longer rides)

I rented some rides on vacation last year and just brought my own shoes/pedals, bibs and chamois butt'r. Everything else about the bikes I rented could be adjusted.
