Dearborn MI rides
Hi, new member here. Looking for suggestions for some good road bike trails close to Dearborn. I’m new to the area and have been riding Heinz drive which is excellent, but would like some variety. Also would be great to meet up with some local riders.
I also have a mtn bike so any intel on close by off road rides would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I use strava heat maps to see where people go. Some of the paved trails through the metro parks are great if you don't like cars. I've done the path by 275 - I'm not a big fan of being near a highway, but it may be an option.
Mountain bikes: Pottawatomie, Brighton, Tree farm (walled lake). There are a lot of others north of M-59. turn bike routes on in google maps to see some paths. The tight squiggly ones are the mountain bike trails.
Best recommendation - do the Saturday 6:30am Beat the Train ride through Detroit. I just love that ride.

Morton-Taylor trails in Canton Township link up to the 275 Bike Trail which links up to the Metro Parks. Morton Taylor is good for gravel grinding with some side trails for MTBs. There is also a small pump track. There is a paved Greenways Trail linking the Metro Parks that so far goes all the way down to Flat Rock. Hines Park does link to the 275 trail so you can actually start in Dearborn on Michigan Avenue behind Andiamo restaurant. There is a paved trail there that goes through Henry Ford and U of M Dearborn to Hines.
