Here's Gorge Lake ... and evidence of great stupidity on my part. The twigs are holding my bike up. I should have at least tied it in to secure it against a gust of wind. Fortunately, nothing happened.

It's OK. I'd prefer to save a little weight, but as a two person tent it's big enough for me and my gear, and it holds all six something of me. Also it's large enough to dress in.

Spare parts single speed on the inlet for cayuga lake. Please go easy on me, it's a pretty polarizing look.

Two more from today's ride, but this time I was on my road bike.

First on is again the Willamette river at near flood stage.

The second is by the Luckiamute river.

That's the one! If you're out here again, Diablo is a great place to camp. There's a gorgeous drive-in campground with sites that aren't more than 100 yards from the shore, and many more sites that you need to paddle in to. At night, you can see the Milky Way reflecting in the lake.

Here are two more photos of my bike with the lake:

You can find summer shots of the lake, with and without my old bike, in this thread. If you wanted to. It's one of my favorite places, and I get a little enthusiastic about it...

Camped at Colonial Creek both times. Saw an Osprey catch a fish. Love that place, though it was a tad chilly in late May. The first time it was snowing atop Rainy and Washington Passes.

You can't see the water for the darkness, but that's French Creek beneath the bridge:
