Here's Gorge Lake ... and evidence of great stupidity on my part. The twigs are holding my bike up. I should have at least tied it in to secure it against a gust of wind. Fortunately, nothing happened.

It's OK. I'd prefer to save a little weight, but as a two person tent it's big enough for me and my gear, and it holds all six something of me. Also it's large enough to dress in.

From a lifetime ago....... well 13 or 14 years ago while station in Italy..... I was a Clydesdale then around 220 but crazy strong now I am huge (300ish) and just bought a new bike and am trying to turn over a new leaf to re-live those past wonderful days.

Camped at Colonial Creek both times. Saw an Osprey catch a fish. Love that place, though it was a tad chilly in late May. The first time it was snowing atop Rainy and Washington Passes.
