Bianchigirll,
Plus 2 on Greg and his work. He has been a gift for my restorations. Sending materials to me for confirmation and checking for specs to get them right. He even did a custom job for my 86 Peloton because I didn't like the factory set up. A lot of what he does for us goes unnoticed.
as an aside: I clear coat everything, and sometimes I get a bit of over spray with the lacquer I use. You can ruin his decals with an attempt to wipe the over-spray off. Let it dry and re-coat is the best way. Smiles, MH

I rec'd a much-anticipated OEM Trek Y-Foil in 54cm. Full DA7700, including the Easton-made DA seat post, an Adamo saddle, and Rolf Vector Pro wheels. Even had a blue Trek bottle cage that matched the paint (blue with red/silver/white letters).

My 56cm, though dialed in, now, could easily be a 54cm and fit even better. The 1cm TT difference was going to put me "right there." So, I opened up the large box, pulled everything out and, hmm, 59cm TT, 59cm ST. Measured 3x. Had a 120mm stem, 46cm bars. Made for a giant.

So, I text the seller, "dude, it's a 59cm." He's known me for years, knows I ride a 54, have a 56... I get back: "The guy I got it from said it was a 54cm and he's my size, as are you, so I figured it was a 54cm." Apparently, no test-ride, just a flip, because I know the seller and no way he could reach the pedals or bar. ...Doesn't matter, I'll sell it and put the DA7700 (which included the BB and a complete working Flight Deck head unit/harness, which is kinda cool) on something else.

Nervar crankset with extra TA cranks arms. This is the vague eBay listing photo everything is NOS or very well polished. The TA crank arms are orphans. One is a tandem left British threaded and the other is right side drive and I think French (Looks un buggered but doesn't take a British pedal). These are up for trade, if some one can set me up with some combination of matching arms.

Extraordinary material...

Yeah, that looks pretty good. I didn't know where to put the fork on my last frame shipment, but I like what he did here, placing it inside the frame and tying the steerer to the down tube. If there's a better method, I'd like to hear it.

I need grips for my Dawes (a bit of hockey tape doesn't provide enough thermal insulation this time of year). I was thinking of getting some cork grips, but yours look interesting, similar to traditional bone grips. Mind revealing your source?

Don't mind at all. Here is the link: City Bike Grips

I ordered these on 11/18 and received them today. They also come in black or brown, in separate listings. Let me know if you want to see better pics.
