Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I just want a 300 watt FTP and 50% of WR's 1 kM power. Unfortunately those cannot be bought.

Cool bikes and a concept of a Canadian duo which I respect being a Canadian. However, too many people hyping them up and there is better value for the price point.

I've got well over the 300 FTP, and a decent percentage of WR's one minute power. I just want 15kg lighter.

I have know crossed the 150 lb barrier, so 300 FTP is a lot for me. Isn't his 1K like 1100. 550 would be fantastic for me as that would keep me going north of 33 mph without drafting. I have modest goals.

Cervelo bike - not really - I like what I already have.......

I believe that cervelo is Italian for brain, so there are some on this forum that should be saying Yes to mzeffex's original question.......

I have the SSX01 which is their all aluminum bike and it's a nice ride. This bike is a smaller frame so I'm able to get more saddle to bar drop which I really like; I got it from Competitive Cyclist which sold it with Rival and I've been really happy with SRAM because their brifters are nice on my hands. I may sell my Orbea and get a Pro Machine but we'll see. Out of the Cervelo line up I like the RS though as far as paint schemes go I prefer the 2009 model with the black/red/white design; one thing that I'm doubtful on are those toothpick looking seat stays because it looks like they'll break if the bike falls on its side.
