The frame bag set up was found here on BF. B-Rad rail and medium accessory mount with the smallest Lezyne saddle bag. I'm not sure who exactly figured it out first but I copied it and really like it there.
You can see the color change paint pretty well here. We called it chameleon paint in the 90's.

A few photos of my project gravel bike from a PX10LE frame, spare parts and a couple of partial road bike frames gifted to me from a LBS. Right now it’s a one by. The chain I bought today wasn’t long enough.

I took my Checkpoint in for the first tune up last month, and asked them if they could make some adjustments to the reach on my gears. They ended up swapping out the handle bars completely. It’s such a minor difference but it’s really made the fit just about perfect. This bike didn’t come in a wsd so I appreciate my local shop putting in the effort to help me get it there. Also new tape, I like the Bontrager gel cork tape a lot better than the trippier tape that came with it
I’m seriously considering picking up a set of mountain bike pedals, I like my clip ins but when I do fun rides it would be nice to not be clipped and I see most of the other Gravel riders in my area seem to be having fun on flats. To be honest I may just be swayed by the hot pink race face pedals REI has in stock Has anyone gone from clip in to flats and been really happy with it?

Specialized Sequoia straight from the shop. Eventually I'll replace the usual suspects, pedals, saddle, tires, probably bar tape - I'm not sure how I feel about this tape.

I was going to question why such a large head tube is used with a steel fork, but see that the same frame is used on a model higher that has a carbon fork. Makes sense to use 1 frame then.

Interesting mix of components to make the drivetrain. Creative. Are the brakes post mount of flat mount?...the website claims both.

Haven't put more than a couple miles on them but they’re really nice. Probably too big if I was planning on riding somewhere with a lot of mud but that’s more of a frame clearance issue. Sidewalls feel pretty durable which is reassuring as well.

Yes! I finished it today! It's a gravel bike!
Still left to do:
- Align the rear so it's centered. It's way off to the right after spreading it.
- Rack, fenders, lights.
- Handlebar tape, after I determine the brake levers are in the right place.
- Maybe change the handlebars or stem or both. The bars are high, and the reach is short.
- Eventually, I'll sand and refinish the frame.

Here's my newest baby. 2019 Bombtrack Hook EXT-C. What an amazing machine. Only changed out the stem, seatpost, tires, and brake rotors. Rest of this bike is perfect. Happy with the Rival 1, for the price was hoping for at least Force, but so far it's been pretty bulletproof. Doing the Great Alleghany Passage with this during the week of the 22nd.

I really can't say the American Classic RACE 29 wheels were great.
Yes, they were light and 32 spokes held them together pretty well. In fact, I think the fact that they were 32 spoke is what made them last as long as they did. The hub was bad from the factory and the front seal design was such that the bearings dried out very quickly. Then there was the whole interoperability issue with tires blowing off the rim. 3200 miles and they are ready to be retired.
I've only ridden the new wheels around the subdivision. They are almost as light as the AC wheels. I9 hubs are LOUD!

The Claris rear derailleur and shifter work great. The front isn't working yet. I haven't figured out why. The shifter seems not to have enough pull, though the derailleur can move the chain to the big ring when I move it with my hand.
I've decided I don't like these bars on this bike, though I have them on my commuter bike. Changing the bars involves installing all new cables. Grr. That's the job I dislike the most.

NO LONGER A BF USER
This is my current bike. A mid-90s Specialized Crossroads. I stripped the bike down to the frame/fork/BB and built it back up with better parts from roughly the same 1990's era. Many of the parts came from Bridgestones (an XO-2 and MB-5). Super comfy bike. The 22" frame Crossroads has a very long top tube compared to the seat tube which is very difficult to find. Great frame for those with long torsos. I measured the seat tube at 56cm (c-c) and the effective top tube at 59cm (c-c). Great for light touring, trails or gravel roads. I may have to find a U08 frameset for a similar build. Good to know they can handle 40mm tires! How did the test ride pan out?
