yeah. i just got an email with that code "fall_discount." It applies until the 8th. good time for people to order amelia wheels or a crankset and bars if you're needing anything like that.

At what point do you submit the discount code "fall_discount" ? After clicking "commit to buy"?

Thanks.

This insanely great thread is going to be the death of us all. Lol

Anyone get the pawn? how would you compare that to the ivan? I was kind of debating which to get, this time I just figured for the ivan cuz it was significantly bigger without paying much more..

From now until next Friday- just write "fall_discount" in the "Add a promotional code" box in your shopping cart on cyclingcloseouts.com and you will get $20 off just like that! Remember- all orders over $50 get Free USA Shipping- and for customers outside the USA- we have great International Shipping rates.

Same here. I saw it before I went to class too... Darn.

Edit:
P.S. where do you guys find out all of these Chrome deals? Seems like this 50% off deal was really exclusive

Fizik Arione Tri 2 - $55

I'm not familiar with saddles or anything, but after searching around, I couldn't find anyone else selling it for this cheap. I was influenced by the $40 Arione earlier in this thread. If this Arione Tri 2 isn't as good, my apologies, just thought I'd try to help.

Kinda bitter about the Chrome thing.

I figured out it worked with their "combo" deals, so had ordered Shoes+Jacket+Baselayer for $70.

Told friends about "combo" trick.

Friends ordered.

Got email saying combo trick was a glitch and my order was canceled.

Friends got shipping confirmation for same combo trick.

fffuuuu.

Sucks, man. Unfortunate to hear that. I did two separate orders because that's my typical luck (and I will hold my breath until they arrive)

Hi All

Just saw this... though it was a pretty decent deal (not sure about shipping to Canada though)... I have this wheel (rear.. and an alexrim front)... pretty good so far...

$99 a pair (black/white) + FREE ship!

https://www.cyclingcloseouts.com/Prod..._wheelset.aspx

probably works to the advantage of our friends south of the border...

Can you combine this with the wheel and sprocket coupon code for $20 off? It should also be noted that that link is for a 26" wheelset.

anyone have any suggestions as to where to find a good cog? 17t

i think i might pick this one up.
https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ht_1604wt_1139

anyone with experience with origin8 cogs?

the eai 17t i found was a little pricey. around $40 shipped.

i know i should go cheap on the cogs, but 40 seems a little much.

The Eighth Inch cogs on eBay (wheelandsprocket eBay seller) are $24.50 with free shipping and are very good. It looks like the Origin8 cog should be fine as well.

I have one and I love it, quality made and cheap...not sure what else to say but I'd absolutely recommend it. Good cogs are good, or in Newspeak...doubleplusgood.

For great quality 1/8" cogs in sizes from 17T to 21T, you can get a Soma in black from World Class Cycles for $19 + modest shipping. Also, they sell Dura Ace in smaller sizes (13T - 16T) for only $24 and lockrings for $11.
