We pick up our Java this weekend but didn't get a great picture (cloudy weather) ... I'll post better picture in the coming days. The tri-colors are Lisa's favorite gems (sapphire, pink-ruby, and emerald), she likes this better than a ring with stones.

FYI, for those interested in Co-Motions, there is a new(ish) Facebook Group just for Co-Motion owners (single or tandem) or those interested in the brand: https://www.facebook.com/groups/comotionowners
Fade paint jobs look great, but after owning one I probably wouldn't get one again, as they are maddeningly hard to get touch-up paint to match.

I hadn't returned to this thread in a while. Nice additions.
I have good news...
The new bike's gonna get tested properly! A spot opened up on a Bicycle Adventure Club trip to Bordeaux France in May! So we're signed up and VERY excited! We've done some Europe touring AND tandem touring, but not both together! So psyched. Now let's hope Covid round two doesn't thwart our plans! (Ironically, this Bordeaux trip was originally scheduled for this last May and postponed a year.)
After our trip ends, we plan to head on up to Holland to visit our daughter who will be finishing up a semester of study abroad there. Deciding how to get there. Might rent a car (probably will). Should just ride up there, dammit! But maybe train-ride hybrid. We'll see.
If anyone has any recent tandems on trains advice in France, Germany & The Netherlands, I'm all ears. Ironically, Darren Alf of Bicycle Touring Pro just posted some stories about train travel with bike on his YouTube channel.
Again, if Covid doesn't completely thwart all these plans!
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and New Year! Enjoy those bikes, folks!
