Dahon Launch D8

I've been a Dahon fan for years and owned more than a few, and still do. I lived in Japan for a lot of years and moved back the US about 6 years ago. My Dahons have all been catching dust for the last 6 years.

About 4 or 5 months ago I got the bicycle fever again and have slowly been bringing my foldies back up to speed. Right now I have:
  • Dahon Jetstream XP
  • Dahon Speed P8
  • Dahon Speed TT Pro
And today I added a Launch D8. All my other bikes are circa 2005-2010 or so and I must say there seem to be some improvements in the newer Dahon bikes at least as it relates to build quality. I took a ride and the bike was ridiculously quiet and smooth. Seems all my old Dahon bikes always made a noise or something. Anyway I am blown away by the Launch D8.

Just for fun I tossed in a pic of my Speed TT Pro which I almost never rode. It is essentially brand new still.

Oh yes the Speed Pro TT, I remember it well. Dahon has subsequently come out with new fast folders, but they never caught my fancy as the Speed Pro TT did. Its always been on my list.

yes, Speed Pro TT is really something else. it took me years to get one and love it. my brother in law wanted to buy it but I said nope. I now have the Speed TR and Speed Pro TT.
