Helmet w/ face shield
Wondering if anyone here has exp. wearing a helmet that has an eyeshield. I am having probs getting Rx cycling glasses and was wondering about just using a helmet with which I can wear my regular glasses.
The $50 one from Amazon doesn’t fit me.

Wearing Casco Speedairo for four years. Excellent in terms of function, comfort and look. Great venting for summer, wear a skull cap for winter.

1) $$$
2) EN but NOT CPSC certified. Which means it is not legal for use for racing in the USA...and strictly speaking, most organized ride EULAs now demand a CPSC helmet; TBH no one checks but I'm being strict here as said.
It also has far better ventilation than the Giro Air Attack. As in, not even close.

Check out the Bell Star Pro; Just make sure to get the model with the shield. It's an aero helmet with limited ventilation so your head will be kinda warm in the summer but you can open the vents. In the winter, you can keep the vents closed to keep your head a bit warmer. The shield is easy to take off and can be attached on top of the helmet.
