I keep getting the call warning my car warranty is about to expire and I'd better buy an extended warranty. I haven't had a car warranty since 1998.
Mrs John was warned last week that her Netflix account was in arrears and in danger of going to collection. She has never had a Netflix account
A friend's mother paid 1000s to a caller who claimed to be the IRS after the caller threatened to put her in jail.

My daughter fell for one of those not long after she started her job. She was embarrassed. Mom and I laughed.

We get the warranty notifications for cars we haven't owned for 15-20 years.

wind breaker and jersey 45 and below. below 30 thermal jacket. Been working for me so far. I throw arm warmers in the mix as needed. Usually end up ripping them off pretty early so lately havnt been using them.
